The Alfred I duPont-Columbia Award

The George Foster Peabody Award

In 2012, I was part of the team that won the Peabody and duPont awards for the StoryCorps 9/11 collection. For the StoryCorps broadcast on NPR coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the attacks, we paid tribute to Father Mychal Judge, NYC Fire Department Chaplain and the first confirmed death of 9/11. This was a project that included many months of research, interviewing and recording with people whose lives had intersected with the incredible Father Mychal.
